So we tested the first Lenovo laptop from its new product line IdeaPad, designed especially for home users. In our opinion the laptop turned out to be great: the manufacturer has managed to create an attractive product with uncustomary exterior and good function package that in majority of cases is capable of replacing a home desktop PC. The laptop’s quite heavy for its category – almost 3 kg. In our judgement the designers sacrificed this parameter to reliability which is common for ThinkPad business models.
The product specifications and communication capabilities are of the average level with no superiority to other similar models. It doesn’t have the latest network adapters, features only 1 Gb of RAM and no HDMI. Although these ‘drawbacks’ aren’t that important for everyday use while available quality sound system with Dolby support is a big advantage.
